Almost a month exploring the mountains and cities of central and northern Thailand, it’s time for some sand and sea. We decided to focus on visiting a couple of islands on the Gulf of Thailand in the Trat region – an area we have never visited before.

Pai has a very laid back atmosphere and it’s a popular getaway for many backpackers, it’s easy to get around and the accommodation and food is cheap.
Thailand’s second city after Bangkok, Chiang Mai is a tourist’s heaven. At it’s heart lies the Old City, filled with history and charming backstreets.
The ancient city of Sukhothai was the first capital city of Siam, at it’s centre lies a stunning World Heritage Historical Park with restored ruins.
The melting pot of Thailand, Bangkok is a bustling city attracting hundreds of tourists each day. Filled with temples, new high risers and street food vendors.
